Berlin, Germany – October 7, 2024 – Neat Path Networks GmbH is pleased to announce its participation in the 6th NG112 Emergency Communications with NG eCall Plugtest event, organized by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) in collaboration with the European Emergency Number Association (EENA). The event took place from September 30 to October 4, 2024, at the University of Malaga, which is equipped with a state-of-the-art testbed for 4G and 5G mobile networks.
During the Plugtest, Neat Path Networks GmbH successfully tested the interoperability of its Scalable Voice Core, featuring E-CSCF/P-CSCF IMS functionality. The company engaged with over a dozen vendors, including leading providers of Next Generation Call Processing (NGCP) and Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs). Various scenarios were tested, encompassing emergency calls across multiple device types and configurations. These included eCalls, NG112 calls, calls from in-vehicle systems (IVS), video emergency calls, and real-time texting.
This event marks a significant opportunity for Neat Path Networks GmbH to contribute to the advancement of emergency communications technology, ensuring enhanced interoperability and reliability in critical situations.
